Its founders, Neil and Tussy Shnider have 25 years of experience in the marketplace. Neil Shnider

Neil received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1968 (The Ohio State University) a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1995 (Capital University) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in accounting, in 1997 (The Ohio State University), and in 2002 he successfully completed the CPA certification. In 1969 Neil founded Neil Pharmacy. During the years between 1969 and 1988, Neil was active in building a chain of Pharmacies in the Central Ohio area. After growing the pharmacies to four (4) in numbers, in 1982, Neil began building the first of two medical centers in the Columbus, Ohio area. He strategically position pharmacies, inside the medical centers, to better serve the patients and clients of the practitioners in the buildings. During the 19 years that he spearheaded the growth and expansion of the pharmacies and the medical centers, he developed Neil Medical Equipment and Supplies, to serve those patients who needed ambulatory and convalescent equipment and supplies for home use.

Since his accomplishments as a successful entrepreneur and several higher education degrees, Neil began teaching in the Graduate School of Administration at Capital University, in the Master of Business Administration program. His knowledge, from both academic and business experiences afforded him the opportunity to establish an Entrepreneurship MBA focus.

​

Neil has been actively involved in providing training, certification and education to many small business and government groups, through seminars, lectures, workshops, presentations and individual consulting.

​

His focus on small business has helped many organizations:

  • Develop affordable marketing skills and campaigns to increase revenues

Neil has worked extensively with the area Chamber of Commerce of Central Ohio, Small Business Development Centers of Ohio (SBDC) and is a certified counselor of SCORE (Senior Core of Retired Executives), a division of the Small Business Administration (SBA) and helps startup companies develop and grow.

Tussy Shnider, BS in Ed, MA, MSW, PhD (The Ohio State University), began her interest in not-for-profit organizations in local community and synagogue volunteer work. She held leadership positions in many local, regional, and international organizations. Expanding on that interest, Dr. Shnider returned to graduate to enhance her knowledge of organization management and Jewish studies.  As part of her doctoral studies in the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University, her research included such areas as motivation of volunteers, women in leadership, and anti-Semitism in Poland.  Her doctoral dissertation, a blending of her volunteer and academic interests is entitled Management Factors Associated with Perceived Effectiveness in Reform Jewish Congregations: Questionnaires Eliciting Leader and Member Perspectives.

Dr. Shnider served as a member of 

​

  • The North American Board of Trustees of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and their Executive Committee

  • The International Board of Directors of Women of Reform Judaism

  • The CCAR-URJ Joint Commission on Synagogue Management

  • The URJ Communications Committee

  • The URJ Jewish Family Concerns Committee

  • Temple Israel Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, chairing the Religious School Committee, the Hebrew Education Committee, and a committee to restructure the congregation

Dr. Shnider served as president of

​

  • Women of Reform Judaism District 10 (a five-state district organization of WRJ)

  • Northeast Lakes Council/URJ (a five-state regional organization of URJ)

  • Temple Israel Sisterhood, Columbus, Ohio (having served as treasurer, vice president and parliamentarian for many years)

​

Dr. Shnider has also held leadership positions in the Ohio Speech and Hearing Association, the Central Ohio Speech and Hearing Association, the Wexner Heritage House Auxiliary, the Joseph Schoenthal Cancer Ray, and the Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and the Collier/Lee (FL) Chapter of Hadassah.  She is currently leading a transformational initiative at Temple Shalom in Naples, Florida.

​

Dr. Shnider has worked professionally as

​

  • A teacher of the deaf in the Columbus Public Schools

  • An audiologist for the Ohio School for the Deaf

  • A lecturer at The Ohio State University teaching research, management, and policy courses for graduate students in the College of Social Work

  • Developer of survey questionnaires for business and not-for-profit organizations

​

Dr. Shnider continues to combine professional engagements and volunteer involvement in her community.
